Having reached the end of the ocean, a group of Pelicans flying in formation find that they are running into another group of Pelicans flying information at a 90-degree angle to themselves. Just before the two lead Pelicans hit one another there is some recognition of the lead Pelccan recognizing himself through the eyes of the other. Is this real or is it a Pelican nightmare and the Pelican is about to wake up all tucked up in his nest? The person who figures that out will need to compare notes with Aristotle, Eratosthenes. and Euclid.

Dust Bowl Lightning A sky made dark jet black by blowing and lofted topsoil that has obscured the mid-day sun from the flat terrain of this midwest State. The friction of the turbulent dust particles in the air generates static electricity resulting in the lighting discharges seen in the foreground. In the distance, there is a thin layer of light showing silhouettes of an old windmill and several lackluster bushes starving for sunlight and rainfall.
